National Cadet Corps

In 1987 NCC (in army wing) was introduced at Barama College under 2nd Lieutant Khagen Das, Lect. Dept of Geography. At Present it is run by Sri Cittaranjan Muchahary, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Bodo. Sri Cittarnajan Muchahary, has completed PRCN/161/2016 course from OTA (Officers’ Training Academy), Kampta, Maharastra and received the designation of Lieutant as ANO Associate NCC Officer.

Another unit of NCC under 30 Assam Bn. was introduced at Barama College in December, 2020. Dr. Diganta Haloi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Economics is CTO of that Unit.

N.S.S

In 1972 NSS was introduced at Barama College, under the abled leadership of Sri Ramani Kanta Saharia , Lect. Dept of Political Science and since then it has been providing yeoman service to the student of the institution. At present, it is guided by Mr. Makibar Rahman, Asst. Prof. of Chemistry.

Career Counseling Cell

A cell for career counseling to the students is also functioning. This helps the students in selecting their future course of action regarding higher education placement and job avenues. Mr. Akan Das, Associate Prof. Dept. of Geography is the convenor of the cell.

Grievance Redressal Cell

There is a Grievance Redressal Cell in the college to look into the grievances of the student’s guardian’s and employee’s. The aggrieved person/body have to apply to the convenor, Mr. Gitesh Kalita, Associate Prof. Dept. of Geography, of the cell for their grievances and the cell will look into the matter.

Extension Educational Cell

This cell provides training to the students in different event for self-employment. At present it is providing short term and long term trainings in the field of Electronics, Computer, Sericulture, Fishery Management, Chemical Preparation and Mushroom Cultivation. Mr. Baikuntha Kalita, Associate Prof. Dept. of Geography, is the convenor of the cell.
